~MY 4 STAR REVIEW OF PARADISE HOPS by LIZ CROWE~

Paradise Hops by Liz Crowe
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I enjoyed Paradise Hops very much. It was a very different, contemporary romance read for me but down to earth with strong characters and emotional events. It is a love triangle but to a different degree. I did have mixed feelings about things that happened in the book and I was heartbroken more often than not, so you will need the tissues, as well as shocked at some parts.

Lori Brockton is a woman that has been through hell and back and is trying so hard to get back in the groove of life and have some sort of normalcy by helping with her family's brewery. She is beautiful, attractive and smart. The brewery is all she has ever known and her passion for it is very compelling.

Then one day her life changes when Garrett Hunter walks in as the new business manager for Brockton Brewing Company. He is perfection in EVERY way and falls madly in love with Lori. Their relationship starts slowly and blooms beautifully over time until....and then there were three....Eli Buchanan is a real hard ass but a good looking one with an attitude to boot. He is the complete opposite of Garrett but certainly knows his $hit when it comes to a brewery and it is his job to get the company up to speed and NOT to do anything else right? Well that is where I will leave you and suggest that you do read this book.

I enjoyed it very much even though the flow was a little different but it certainly kept my attention, had me gasping, my heart breaking and fanning myself;0) This is my first read by Liz Crowe and it will NOT be my last. You can purchase a copy here

~MY 5 STAR REVIEW OF JUST REMEMBER TO BREATHE~

Just Remember to Breathe by Charles Sheehan-Miles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What a wonderful read with great characters and realistic situations that will leave you thinking, wanting, sympathizing and fighting for a love so strong and a hero so tortured. I enjoyed this book immensely! Alex and Dylan come together during their high school years and of course fall in love. The only problem is the distance in which they live but also the fact that they are unsure where they stand in their relationship. Once they figure it out they make the best of it until something changes and leaves them as well as you completely heartbroken. Fast forward a few years later where these two come together again only to work side by side and try so hard to set some boundaries, mainly one, and that is, not to talk about their past. I highly recommend you read this story and take the journey with Alex and Dylan in hopes that they will find their happily ever after.

A very heartwarming, young adult, modern day romance and extremely down to earth love story between two people who have their struggles, one more than the other being a Disabled Veteran with some other challenges as well. I felt the love these two had for each other and I struggled right along with them and their ups and downs. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed this book.

Some of my favorite quotes were:
We met almost three years ago: my senior year in high school and her junior year. And to be blunt: it changed my life, in ways I can’t really measure.

I lost myself in him.

But maybe I was a little book smart and not enough life smart, because I fell for him. I fell off a cliff. And I still haven’t recovered.

And, looking at his chest and arms, tight inside that t-shirt, I thought it would take a lot more than a short walk to bring my heart rate down.

“Alex… I love you. I’ll go where you lead me. I won’t ask for more.”

Killing is easy. It’s living with it that is difficult.

WOW!! 5 HUGE STARS From me! The Mighty Storm was an excellent read. It did start out slow but with much purpose so that you get to know the characters and it builds your anticipation up for all the heartache, drama, hotness and humor to come. You name it, this story had it, all of it. I laughed, I cried and most of all I felt!
First we meet Trudy Bennett aka Tru, which is what most call her, she is a music journalist getting ready to do an article on none other than Jake Wethers, a sexy, tattooed bad boy and lead singer for The Mighty Storm. He was also Tru's very best, childhood friend. Then we meet Will, Trudy's very loving boyfriend of two years, and an investment banker. There are many more characters in the book that I fell in love with as well, Simone, Tru's flat mate, Stuart, Jake's PA, Denny a member of the band and that is just to name a few.
So what pray tell happens well that is why you must read the book because you won't be disappointed and I highly recommend it. I will tell you a few things though;0)
Tru is offered a job she can't refuse after her and Jake reconnect and then all them damn sparks fly. They spend a lot of time together reliving their childhood but now they are all grown up! Tru and Jake realize they have always been THE one for each other but that doesn't come easy nor at no cost of heartache. I don't want to spoil any of this but let's just say you will absolutely fall in love with all of the characters and you will FEEL right along with all of them as they work through the drama and one helluva roller coaster ride! LOVED every minute of it!!!

He leans close, and his hot breath brushes over the skin on my neck tickling me, as he says, "I was talking about you, Tru."

This Jack has this way of looking around at everyone in the room, but making you feel like the only person he's actually looking at is you. That you are the object of his desire. Your're the one he's taking home tonight. He can undress a woman with one look alone. And when his eyes meet and fix onto mine, I suddenly feel it and more, and it strips me naked to the core. My legs start to tremble.

Jake - a sweet dream? Or a beautiful nightmare? Which one Tru?

Where to begin? I can say that I agree with some of the other reviews that I have read, stating that this was no doubt, an emotional roller coaster, read and I did like the first one better. I can also say it was definitely a page turner! Eva and Gideon are a favorite couple of mine and my heart went out to both of them, but more so for him. They have both been through so much and I cannot imagine the abuse they suffered at such a young age. While this book is fiction in reality you have to ask yourself how does one overcome such abuse, try to live a normal life and have a healthy relationship? Eva and Gideon love each other there is no doubt in that. I couldn't blame them for their insecurities and jealousy. The relationship they have is a difficult one and they both worked at it in different ways, while probably not the best way, but giving their history I think they just coped the best way they knew how! I could not give up on Gideon even though I was frustrated with him as well as Eva, again who isn't afraid of the unknown at times? Deep down I trusted him but that is not to say it wasn't difficult. In my opinion Eva was scared, hell they both were. Corinne played her role very well and that is none other than a complete and total B!tch. I look forward to the HEA that Ms. Day hopefully has planned for them in book three because let's face it if she didn't she would have some very unhappy fans and God knows they deserve it!

4.5 stars from me and who knows I may change that in a few days. This is my second attempt at writing my review because the first one got erased and let's just say that I was NOT very happy!! Some of my favorite quotes were: Gideon to Eva"Your kisses are mine."and"I'm in hell without you"and one very important key that perhaps helped us understand a little about Gideon's true feelings was when he said to Eva"Because of you, the world makes sense to me in a way it didn't before. A Great Military & Romance Suspense Read!, October 5, 2012

This is a story about two people who find love again after being hurt by their significant others. The first part of the story is about how Tara, who is a journalist that lives in New York and Mick, who is a Marine, that lives in North Carolina, when he isn't at war, meet. Their adventure to a beautful island, St. Thomas, will show us how they fall in love and what their future together will hold. A very romantic place, with lots of beautiful things, clear blue water, warm ocean breeze and most importantly, romance, so you say what could possibly go wrong?The second part of the story is about Mick going back to the war, unfortunately getting injured, all the while Tara is back in New York, worrying and trying to deal with this very different, but very loving and heartfelt relationship. A favorite part of mine, that I enjoyed a lot, was the letters that were exchanged between Mick and Tara. Mrs. Joachim and Ben Tanner definitely kept my interest throughout the novel. The romance was really good, the situations very realistic, especially with what goes on in our world today. Some unexpected twists and turns were nice and kept the story flowing. I had different feelings about what may or may not happen and I was a little frustrated with Tara towards the end but needless to say it all worked out. I don't want to spoil it for you so I do recommend that you read it. A very nice, smooth, enjoyable read with realistic situations and characters that I am sure some people can relate to especially those in the armed forces. I smiled and laughed while sympathizing with the characters feelings. I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be reading their other novels. A special thank you to both Authors for an ARC of this book. Well done:0)
