Love lilacs!!! The smell is so wonderful. Sadly many of the trees took a horrible beating in the brutal weather we've had this winter! Hope they come back in the Spring!!!

Daffodils are my favorite. They are bright, sunny, happy flowers that hint of the promise of spring. Whenever I see them I know cold weather is almost over. Yeah! Mine are blooming now! msdebms(at)aol(dot)com

There are so many! Bleeding Hearts, Peonies, Lilacs, Roses, Lady Slippers, and Lillies (stargazer, trumpet/easter, etc.) I am so ready for summer and to get out in my gardens! =D

I love jasmine and stagazer lillies and lilacs - some of the best smells out there. I'm never without snapdragons in my containers every summer either.

ReplyDeleteExcept red roses.. I have been married for 25 years and we dated for 3 years. Every Valentine's Day, anniversary, birthday or a "just because", my husband sends red roses. I love yellow roses. My kids know I love yellow roses, my coworkers know I love yellow roses. All my rose bushes are yellow, pink, white and mixture of color. Not one red rose bush. I have point blank told my husband I love yellow roses. He still sends red.... Apparently they are his favorite. Ha ha.... Maybe TMI but I had to share. Maybe it will give someone a laugh today! ;)
