Kindle Unlimited
I hope this helps you all understand the difference between the two.
Personally I don't have either one and I would not benefit from the Unlimited because I don't do audible books and I am a slow reader sometimes.
In the future I would like to try Prime especially since shipping costs are always increasing.

Thanks for following bookhooking!
Love you much,

I have Amazon Prime and I absolutely love it. The New $9.99 a month would not work for me--I sometimes wait to read a book and want to own it. The shipping alone for the family is worth it--my sons' textbooks for college, any equipment they buy. Also, they do not group shipments for books based on release dates as B &N does, their customer service is over and above. I went from NOOK to Kindle and never looked back.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!! Thank you for commenting!
DeleteI have had a Prime membership for about 2 years now and even with the increase in price last year the shipping has paid itself off and made it worth it. The monthly Prime library loans are a nice perk also, though not every Kindle book is part of the library. (I would say 30-40% of the books you read and review are in the library, though titles change often.) I have a Kindle but also use thr reading app on my MacBook, iPhone and other computers when my Kindle is charging, but I don't think Kindle Unlimited is worth it (for me at least). I think the price doesn't fit the benefits, especially when the main difference is audio books which I don't listen to often and the lack of free shipping.
ReplyDeleteI would say for the money, Prime is the best way to go and if you are a Student, you can register for Prime at a discounted rate. Hope that helps!
I have prime membership and it has paid for itself many times over. I love to read and I did not see any benefit to purchasing Kindle fire unlimited.
